Lighting

In 2013, our next challenge was to reduce the amount of energy we needed to use for lighting in our print hall, offices and warehouse. We worked with Balkan Lighting, a local lighting and energy management company, to design a plan that would maintain the lighting levels we currently enjoyed, but only when we needed it; and also incorporate new technology that would create an on demand service in certain areas of our operation.

Armed with a small capital project plan Balkan Lighting successfully implemented a managed lighting scheme in our warehouse and print hall that reduced energy requirements throughout the year. This then extended into our offices where we now operate a full LED lighting system that is both energy efficient and modern in its appearance.
