Forum Packaging has been producing and printing every type of paper sack imaginable over the course of the last fifty years. As leading paper bag suppliers and bag manufacturers it has a rich heritage in the industry.
At each stage of the company’s development it has made continuous improvements to its environmental responsibilities, technical competence, product development and printing excellence.
Forum is able to provide its customers with a full range of products from all types of paper sacks to preprinted material, servicing a wide range of industries.

Heritage & Vision
Paper sacks have been manufactured on the Horncastle site since 1964. The original company was incorporated by the Cornish family who had the foresight to respond to the demands of the local Lincolnshire rural economy, setting up an agricultural packaging business primarily for potatoes and carrots.
After a number of years as part of Linpac, a privately owned family business, the company was acquired in 2004 by DS Smith plc, an FTSE 250 company; and became DS Smith Sacks. The business continued on an upward trend when in 2011 it was subject to a management buyout by Mark Spivey and Rob Massey, who re-launched the business under the new name of Forum Packaging Limited. In June 2017, following a successful secondary management buyout, the business is now solely owned by Rob Massey, Director.
Forum Packaging prints and converts more than 60 million paper sacks and bags every year. That’s enough paper sacks end to end to go around the world!
Since the original buyout, more than £1.5 million has been invested in the company including improved building infrastructure, a new production line, a new fleet of liveried trailers and most recently a solar farm at its site which will generate income and savings of more than £40,000 each year. This enables Forum’s manufacturing processes to be more efficient, greener and cost effective.
Today, Forum Packaging is able to supply a wide range of products from all types of paper sacks to preprinted material to more than 20 different sectors across the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Forum is an established business with a long tradition but we are determined to continually look to the future and develop our technology, products and our staff.
