Forum Packaging invests over £1m in operational improvements at its Horncastle site
Forum Packaging has invested more than £1m in its business operations over the past 12 months. Monies have been deployed to improve the buildings infrastructure and include a new roof. In addition, the installation of new production line machinery plus improvements to the supply chain, are designed to increase efficiency and manufacturing output.
The latest arrival at Forum’s site includes a new fleet of three liveried 44-tonne side trailers. Manufactured by Don-Bur near Stoke on Trent and costing around £150,000, the vehicles will be used for transporting Forum’s products nationwide including the new minipak bags for the retail flour industry.
They will join the growing fleet of vehicles operated by Bibby Distribution.
" Forum is an established business with a long tradition but we are determined to continually look to the future and develop our technology, products and our staff. "
