£500K new production line installed to substantially increase sack production
Forum Packaging has installed a new production line capable of producing 26 million paper flour bags every year.
The state of the art Triumph 2B machine represents around half of a £1m investment that has been pumped into the firm since the MBO in 2011, and is designed to satisfy increased demand resulting from the company’s significant upturn in sales under the new management structure.
Forum Packaging already offers an extensive range of products that are on shelves in many of the country’s leading supermarkets. The new production line, which is capable of producing flour bags of varying sizes, will enable Forum to provide versatile range of packaging sizes to its suppliers.
" Forum is an established business with a long tradition but we are determined to continually look to the future and develop our technology, products and our staff. "
